Ok, i don't really know how to start this post...other than, Lina came to stay. And i had the best two weeks of my life. i had to much fun, and Lina is simply wonderful. we did so many things...i am sure Lina will sum it all up alot better than i will. we went to so many places, she met many of my friends, eat such amazing food, watched movies together, shopped together, drank millions of cups of tea together, she met my family, we went to Paris, and just talked. in other news, we had our giant skype session last night, or this morning for me, for the SEATTLE DREAM OF DREAMS AND WONDER...as Maggie as called it. it was insane. i can't believe its actually gonna happen this year. mega-ultra excited, and talking to everyone last night just made me even more excited if that possible. the only problem now is, i feel like we should be having another chat today. haha...oh, as i am typing this, i just looked out the window, and the sky is beautiful. just thought you might like to know.

lina is on her plane right now. i can't quite believe it...after all this time, we finally get to meet! and have adventures.

gah. i have so much to still do...plus need to sleep a little. although, i doubt i will be doing much of that. so, going to the airport tomorrow to pick lina up, and then the adventures begin.

i watched a certain Doctor Who episode today...any guesses which? i love jam biscuits, they make me smile now.
i am feeling the need to take more photos, and my awesome friend Sarah has convinced me to do the 365 project, in which you take a photo each day. however, its a leap year this year, so its 366. i am doing it in a blog format and posting the image on a new blog i have, just for it. its here 366---a-project. its just a way for me to document the photos better. Sarah's 366 blog is here.

this time next week, me and Lina will be hanging out. arggh, freaking out a little! i have lots to do before she arrives!

ok, so i am spending nye's at home with the parents as i have work at 8am tomorrow...so wont be out partying...like my friends who i just spoke to on the phone. they are having such a laugh...and i am wishing i was there. anyway, 2011 is drawing to a close. its been quite awesome really. some bad parts, but some really wonderful moments too.

2011 was the year for getting obsessed with taking photos of the sky, and the sky in general. at Glastonbury i was in my element...being outside all day seeing the sky change, and just seeing the sky in normal everyday life. i have like hundreds of sky photos on my memory cards.

2011 was the year of Doctor Who, and meeting some of the cast. i couldn't believe how lucky i was to meet Karen and Arthur this year, while they were still in the show. and to meet David Tennant as well, to be honest, it still feels like its all a dream. i finally met him. after all these crazy fan girl years. i have met him. i cant really explain how i feel about it. 2011 was the year of music, seeing Katy perry, coldplay, mumford and sons, two door cinema club, slow club, the glee cast, and just being at Glastonbury again. 2012 is going to be eventful. i really cant wait for Lina to get there. i have lots to look forward too. thank you guys so much. love you all. and have a wonderful new year!

so Christmas.

Christmas was nice. however, i feel that i have lost that Christmas feeling. don't get me wrong, i had an amazing time, laughed lots with family, got such super gifts, eat lots, watched Christmas telly...just don't have that excited nature anymore. i guess that's what happens when you grow up. i spent Christmas day with mum, dad, my sister Victoria, and nan and gdad. it was very chilled out. mum did an amazing job with lunch. best dinner ever. i got so many wonderful gifts from family and friends. my favourites included Neville's wand, harry potter Lego, a giant Tim Burton book, a giant harry potter behind the scenes book, and doctor who series 6 on DVD.

watched doctor who at 7pm on Christmas day. i waited all day for it, and to be honest....i was a little disappointed. part of me really wants to like it, just because we have to wait such a long time for it. i can see why people loved it, and things were good about it, but it didn't feel right. that's just my view of course. well to be honest, i think the problem was i was just waiting for Amy and Rory to be in it. the last 5mins very perfect. i cant believe the ponds are leaving...however i am really really looking forward to finding out who the next companion will be.
work had been stressful recently. but all i am thinking about is how i have two weeks off soon...that's keeping me going. i cant believe Lina will be here soon, it doesn't seem real. mega excited. its funny, because i forget for a sec, and then someone will say, 'so when is your friend getting here?' and i stop and thinking, 'oh my goodness! not long!'.

other news, my best friend got engaged, i met my other best friend's new boyfriend---who in fact is a giant...no really he is...no lie, started planning birthday bits and pieces for my other other best friend, seriously started tidying my room and getting rid of things---new year and all that, watched nearly all the episodes of the big bang theory and how i met your mother for Christmas, watched all the harry potter movies again, got really annoyed with stupid friends, got a message from a really old friend, cried watching the 50 greatest harry potter moments, and got post from Maggie today...and its new year's eve tomorrow. staying in drinking lemonade and playing board games i think. i am so freaking cool.

Just finished watching elf. Mega Christmas spirit overload. Plus today when I finished work at 4.30am, once i finally got home at 5am, listened to Christmas music and just sat and watched tbbt. I really hope I get series 4 on DVD for Christmas, i need episodes with Amy in. as i love her. so much. Speaking of Amy..I was asleep and I heard my dad shout, Nicola's got a package!! He brought it up, and it was from Amy. And inside was a cute little letter and 3 American doctor who comics. It really made me smile. Plus she got me a Christmas one too. Such a wonderful early Christmas present. I love my blogging family. We are all there for each other, and will do anything for each other. I am working on a giant doctor who package to send to her..collecting Doctor Who stuff is ever so much fun.
Mum has been doing lots of baking for Christmas. The house smells so lovely. I am currently sitting downstairs surrounded by lots of Christmas decorations, lights, cards, sweets...just one more day at work to get through tomorrow and then I am able to chill out Christmas eve.

just watched Alex Day on the radio 1 web cam....man, hes so cute and awkward. i really want forever yours as the Christmas number 1...sadly, i know that's not going to happen.anyway, i am feeling the Christmas spirit at the moment. apart from being really ill this morning with throwing up and feeling like death..i have put on a brave face and got on with it.

finishing wrapping presents today for some work colleges. one of my friends loves opening presents. a good example of this would be that i have to wrap her birthday/Christmas card as well, so she has more to open. i was inspired by a wonderful package i got through the post from my friend Sophy which was full of tiny little presents wrapped up..therefore she has a box full of tiny individually wrapped gifts. i cant wait to see her face.

i have come to the conclusion either my friends know me really well, or i am just a giant nerd. i have received some wonderful presents from close friends recently, including hp and star wars Lego sets, doctor who mugs, a Starbucks mug, beautiful handmade necklaces, notebooks, and other crazy little things.

its one of my managers birthday today. we are working two night shifts this week, 6pm till 4am..the first one tonight. she is bringing birthday cake, and i have wrapped up some party hats for her, so we can wear them tonight. all night. that's my aim.

it's been another year

so its December...and Christmas is very very very close. mega excited for Christmas. putting the tree up tonight. we had to wait, because mum and dad are always like, 12 days before Christmas..and all that stuff. and i have been working weird shifts, and have been out recently, so finally doing to decorations tonight. i am currently eating apple pie and custard while i type this...its making me feel all warm and fuzzy....plus trying not to get custard on the keyboard, as dad will yell at me.

i decorated my room a while ago with paper chains and snowflakes. my room is in such a mess, paper, wrapping paper, presents, bags all seem to be covering my bedroom floor. i guess that's Christmas for you. the weather has been rather odd recently. i have given up hope of it snowing...it never will. maybe after Christmas, but never before. last night it rained so much. so much so, work flooded..and there was water everywhere. in other business, i have been surprised at work with an Xmas present from my old manager, wrote Christmas cards, had a lovely meal with close friends, exchanged some Christmas presents, watched movies, had dinner cooked by friends, watched HIMYM again from the start, wrapped presents, and have been listening to the Christmas song by the raveonettes. i am obsessed...its my new favourite Christmas song. ok my apple pie is cold now.

I went to London at the weekend with my family. we went to do a little Christmas shopping. London was so busy, and it felt just like christmas. we went to Covent garden, and the decorations were beautiful. I got most of my Christmas shopping done, with lots of cute/random/crazy gifts for friends brought.kinda fell in love with whoever put Matt Smith in this pose in the cabinet in forbidden planet. I couldn't stop laughing.this also made me smile while walking around drinking my eggnog latte wrapped up in my giant scarf.planning adventures with Lina recently has been fun...plus booking where we are going to stay is Paris is making me very excited. ALSO...its the 1st of December as i write this!! going to get the Christmas songs out and finish making my blogger Christmas cards! :D

In other news, work has been rather stressful at the moment, i broke down a couple of times yesterday--purely because i feel like i work so hard and other people just come along and ruin it. its my day off tomorrow, and i feel like i need it.

so it was my lovely friend Laura's birthday weekend. i went all the way to Devon on the train, from Kent, to London, through London to Devon. the train journey wasn't perfect. i had to go after work, so it was rather busy. at on the floor for most of the journey. apart from when i was standing for a bit, but i had this lovely cute guy to talk to. he was nice. our relationship lasted 50mins. so after the insane journey, i finally got to Laura's lovely new flat. Laura made me and Claire dinner, and it was fab...it just felt like old times. like normal. so Saturday we went to a vintage fair, drank Starbucks, went for a drive to the seaside, had the most amazing soup and cream teas in a cute little restaurant--in which we drew pictures with pencils and left them there, walked by the sea, looked in cute shops, and then drove back to Laura's to then go out in the evening with her friends. we went to some awesome places, one bar i had mulled cider, which by the way was wonderful especially when you are sitting in the outside of the bar in the freezing cold.Sunday was sad. its the only part that i hate about trips, the waiting to leave, saying goodbye, getting on the train by yourself. journey home was better. although there seemed to be a lot of really rude people on the train. it was really foggy when we were pulling into London. it kinda felt like dementors were going to appear at the windows of the train. once i got to London, i grabbed a red cup, and ran to catch my train home. once i got home i was welcomed by my parents, which was really lovely. long chats about what everyone had been up to over the weekend were had, dad telling my about the children in need doctor who special/Xmas special trailer, and many many many cups of tea.

i am currently obsessed with Christmas---red cups, presents, music, making Christmas mix Cd's for friends, planning the work secret Santa, and making blogger Christmas cards for Amy's exchange...well trying to. i think i may just end up buying them.

also, Ed Sheeran is always on repeat, counting down until the last hp movie is out on DVD...hurry up Monday!!, aww-ing at the big bang theory with Sheldon and Amy--and coming to the conclusion Amy is my favourite tbbt character now, helping blogging friends when they ask...even though i felt like i didn't really help that much, planning mine and Lina's trip, planning Seattle, smiling, laughing, enjoying being me, drinking so much tea---dad has got me addicted again, and chilling in coffee shops and drawing.love you all.

it feels like winter now. having to get up at 5am to get ready for work, and then to start at 6am...makes it feel very winter-like. its dark....i feel half asleep. plus, its really cold at the moment. i know in my house we have always been put another jumper or cardigan on instead of turning up the heating...but its ever so cold. i feel my nose turning to ice as i write this.

recently i have mostly been going to work, coming home and watching programmes wrapped up in a giant blanket while drinking so much tea. my parents drink many many many cups of tea, therefore i am ending up drinking alot too. well, i also got my first egg nog latte of the season yesterday from starbucks. oh i love it so much.

i have been watching the new series of America's next top model...or all stars, as the new series has been called. last week they had to make up songs. i am in love with Allison's song. like, seriously, its on replete all day long! and its only 48secs long. its brilliant, plus its so catchy you end up singing it all day. i love Allison. i always wanted her to win her cycle.

off to wrap up in bed for a bit and watch a movie...maybe eagle vs shark, as i was gonna watch that the other day but didn't get round to it. off out tonight to see one of my best friends for a catch up, which will be lovely.

so i had the best weekend. i went with my awesome friend Sarah to Hallowhedon, which is a Joss Whedon convention. so much fun was had. in the beginning i kinda just wanted to go because Amber Benson was going, and she was one of my favourite characters from Buffy. however Adam Busch who plays Warren was brilliant. he was such an awesome guy, so funny and cute. i am obsessed with his band common rotation.

all the time. they sing folk music, so therefore i love.other the weekend i met some wonderful people, had many chats and dances with people, laughed so much, took so many photos, dressed up quite a few times, eat so much food, went to many talks, quiz's, had photos taken, and honestly just had a good time. i met people from all over, and even other countries. there is something special about people from all over coming together for the same reason, because of something they love.coming back to normal everyday life isn't so much fun though. work is so busy, why, its like Christmas. all i need is some Christmas music and it would feel like Christmas. i am stocking up on Christmas music, with my old cd's and a few new ones i need to purchase. in other news i am planning the work Christmas party/meal with my manager, which is kinda fun...although i feel it might get a tad stressful nearer the time.

i honestly think i just had the best weekend ever. i will write more about it when i have the time, as i really should go to sleep now as i have work super early in the morning. but it was just the best. dancing to crazy star trek and doctor who songs, meeting wonderful people, getting hugs, laughing so much, dressing up, having photos taking, dancing...so much dancing, meeting people i used to watch on telly when i was younger, the last 4 days have been wonderful. i feel happy. i hope you are all happy too.

currently watching firefly over and over. getting ready for Hallowhedon next week. my costumes are sorted, i am going as Sally from the nightmare before Christmas..and for the wild west party i am going as a Indian. and i am hopefully making a firefly t-shirt for the last party. i really need to start sorting bits and pieces out, and start packing.

i have been talking to a few fans going next weekend, and i am getting really excited now.

i really like taking photos of the sky. its something about the colours on either a wonderful or dark night. the way the light can change in just a few minutes. i guess life is a little like that too.

in other news, i am sure you have read on Lina's blog that shes coming to visit me in January. its official, she has brought her plane ticket! i am going to show her around London and other places, and then we are going to go to Paris..which should be so much fun. i cannot wait to meet her! Paris will be lovely, as i really want to go to some art galleries and get some macaroons, and maybe even go up the Eiffel Tower again. its pretty scary...but still awesome.

life feels like i am standing still at the moment. i have started questioning my life and what i want out of it. part of me wants to go with the flow, however, i do have a few ideas of things i feel i want/need to do.

other news, i am trying to come up with some ideas for Halloween costumes...and failing quite a lot. any ideas? i am going to a Joss Wheadon convention at Halloween, which is gonna be held in a hotel, so its a proper geek-fest-convention. i have never been to one like that before, so that should be an adventure.

also...i am obsessed with twitter. i can't help it. i may need help soon.

the best weekend

so, the weekend was awesome. like insane. got the train at 6.30am on Saturday. got to London just after 8. and then met my friends from Liverpool, Jessica and Victoria in the giant queue. i was surrounded by lots of dressed up people, lots of Amy pond's, the 10th doctor's, 11th doctors---dressed in cowboy hats and bow ties. once in, we ran to Evanna's desk and waited for her to appear. we were going to be the first, so that was gonna be cool. we were waiting there and Arthur darvill walked past...kinda 'eeked' out loud. when evanna turned up she was so lovely. we spoke to her for ages. she really seemed to want to listen and talk to me. she made me feel so special. she was just so warm and friendly. she signed my wand and a photo of herself. then later we met Arthur. i told him that i loved his bowler hat. he said thanks, however he was only wearing it due to the fact his hair was a mess. he then took his hat off and shook his hair in my face and said 'LOOK'. he signed an American doctor who comic i had got last week, which he was on front. he looked at it for a bit and was like, 'what is this?!?' he liked it very much. we then gave him an elephant hand puppet, and Matt smith has a badger, and Karen Gillan has a fox, he had to have an elephant, as 'he is the nose' haha. he liked it very much, and even remembered to bring it to our photo shoots to have it in the photo. i had an awesome Saturday, met lots of people, spoke to lots of fans, brought some cool little bits, went to the Harry Potter talk and the Doctor Who talk, and just had fun.Sunday morning i had to get up early again, as i went back. today was David tennant day. i really couldn't believe that morning today was the day i would finally meet David tennant, after all these years...watching Casanova, doctor who, everything...i really wasn't mentally prepared. so went with dad on the Sunday morning. got there, and everything seemed calm. although when it was photo shoot time, everyone went crazy. so many people who have never been to any of these events before really were not listening to anyone. i was in the queue with three people cosplaying as doctor who characters and a guy behind me. people keep asking us, is this the queue for David tennant photo shoot. we said yes and asked what number, keep in mind they were only calling numbers 1-100 tickets. and these people had 435, or like 698...we told them to come back later...but they would just stand there....it was really crazy. we just couldn't understand why they wouldn't listen. anyway, all the way in the queue we were talking about how weird this felt, finally being able to meet him. the queue was going so fast, and i realised i would only have a few seconds. but to be honest, anything would be enough. walking up to someone to like super love, in insane. i really don't think i will ever be able to explain it. people at work keep asking me, what was it like...but i never really know the right words. while i was watching other people in front of me go first, sometimes he smiled with his teeth, other times he had his mouth shut. he looked straight at me and said hello. he put his arm around me. i was thinking, please smile with your teeth...please. i looked out the corner of my eye...and he did. he was so lovely. if i had got his autograph i might of had a little more time with him...but i already have it a few times, and couldn't really afford it. i had such an awesome weekend. i still cant believe that i have finally met David. i thought i would meet him when he was old and grey. and that i met Evanna and Arthur, who were ever so lovely and funny. i missed doctor who...but i watched it when i got it. man, that was one weird episode. i do feel i need to watch it again. arrggh, hurry up Christmas...Saturday nights are going to be strange without it. back to normal everyday stuff now.

last night i got the train to London to meet my friend Claire. it was ever so sunny while i was waiting for the train, it made me smile quite a bit.we went for dinner, and then headed to Shepherd's Bush Empire to go watch Slow Club. i love them so much. i have seen them before, and their music is a mix of folk, indie and a little sing-a-long out loud. i heart them. the best part was right at the end, they moved really close to the edge of the stage, and sang acoustic. the whole crowd sang along with them, it was magical.i stayed in London last night with Claire. when i said goodbye to her this morning she was off to work. i decided to nip to forbidden planet and pick up my Doctor Who comic book, which is American, and i can't get it anywhere else...so its handy to be in London. then got the tube to the station, and then got my train. kinda tired now. although i keep getting excited about this weekend..i keep forgetting i will *fingers crossed* be meeting Arthur, Alex, Evanna, and David. i am really looking forward to it, however i don't feel mentally prepared yet!

in the woods

i stole this ring from my friend...i say stole..more just said, "oh, that's awesome, can i have that?" for him to turn around and say "...um, yeah...if you want."

so just got back from my little woodland week away with my family. it was really nice as i went with my parents, grandparents and sister. it was god to escape for a while, just to be somewhere else. living within the trees always makes me think of twilight...and mainly because i first read the twilight series years ago on holiday in the same place.as well as chilling out, i had lots of random adventures. these included, going swimming, going to walks, playing cards and board games..and other cute things. mum, Victoria and me went to paint pieces of pottery again this year. i was thinking of doing another plate, but i walked in, and there on the shelf was a dalek staring back at me...needless to say i grabbed that.we also went to Longleat. i have not been there in a few years, but i was really looking forward to this little adventure. Longleat is such a wonderful place.we walked through and looked at lots of cute animals including meerkats (which my grandad loves, so he had a great time). i also held this:...its crazy, but i didn't feel scared at all. weird. i thought i would want to run away screaming...so if i spider appears in my room one night, i don't think i will be scared anymore after holding this one. we also went around the house, which as always was beautiful and made me want to live there, even though there are ghosts. we also ran into Lord Bath as he was taking his dogs out or in, and he said hello to us..that was pretty cool. i also went on a little tour to look at his murals, which were beautiful and gave you an insight to Lord Bath and his art. the whole place is just beautiful. the sun also came out that day for us. the rest of the holiday was spent laughing lots, drawing, taking photos, listening to my sister say the weirdest things in her sleep, playing lots of games of cards, drinking so much tea, eating so many sweets, watching glee while my family laugh at me for singing and squealing, watching tv late, all staying up until 3ish in the morning, talking to far away friends about up and coming plans next week, buying gifts for friends and just being me. its nice. i had such fun.

today has been one of those days. blah. i don't really know where to start. maybe the beginning would be a good idea. ok, so woke up this morning like any other. i had such a giant headache, i felt so sick. went downstairs to find my dad sitting on the sofa with the same problem. only to hear that mum went to work with a really bad headache. this is weird.

ok, so anyway day goes on (no work today, day off), i then check this forum thingy to see if there are any updates on my convention in October, to then read a post that said a HUGE guest would be announced tonight at 7pm...the words huge were in caps and were in bold, so i knew this was gonna be big. so many ideas, and rumours had been going around in my head. there had been alot said about a giant doctor who guest, like Billie, or Christopher, or David or Matt. anyway day goes on, head doesn't get better even though i have taken medicine.

i sorted my phone out so i can get email on it, because i was getting fed up of keep logging in and checking to see if i got my pottermore email. and then it happened. there was a beep noise on my phone, and i thought to myself for a spilt second "that's my pottermore email"...and then thought, "nah, its not", so went back to doing what i was doing. about 32mins later, i checked my email to find i did in fact have my pottermore email. then i ran to the computer, logged on...and wow...pottermore is so pretty. got my wand. got a house. i was super scared about being sorted after J.K.Rowling talks to you about it. but i ended up being ravenclaw. i kinda love it. its perfect. so its 6.55pm, and i turn to my dad and say..."omg, who is this guest gonna be" he says he knows who its gonna be, but wont tell me, and he also tells me not to get excited. so i go upstairs to the computer to find out...the walk up the stairs seems like mega long, so long. log on to the website, it crashes..i think, damn...its a sign. get on to the page, and i see David Tennant's name staring back at me. my mouth kinda drops...i stare at it for a few seconds..then click the link. and hes only going Sunday...and i am going Saturday. its David Tennant...so i am going both days now. i have to. hes my all time favorite.

his autograph is like £45...i think that's far too much. I would rather spend £35 on a photo shoot (which i have), plus i already have his autograph, and at least i get to meet him..and touch him..maybe get a hug. to be honest, i feel like crying a little. its insane. i am so sorry about this stupid post.

so last night i hung out with some friends. there was this beer festival thingy going on. i really don't like beer, so was happy to find out that i could drink cider. anyway, it was a random fun night, with crazy people, weird music, even weirder dancing..but it was good. met some new people. you know when you meet new people, but you feel like you have known them forever? that's what last night felt like. but then again, i guess when you end up spending 8 hours together you can end up feeling like you know them.

going back to work tomorrow. this week has been so nice, waking up when i want, going to the cinema during the day, staying up super late, hanging out with friends, just taking some time for me, its been kinda awesome.

this week i have spoken to Lina on Skype, meet some awesome new people, had the most random night with friends, danced to a crazy band, watched so many episodes of the office, had more adventures in London, planned trips in October, screamed about the Doctor Who guests going to my convention in October, been to the cinema with a bestest friend, been called Amy from the big bang theory about 5 times, eaten cheese, eaten sweet peanuts, sorted out my room, and taken photos...not many, i wish i have taken more...like the sky last night...that was beautiful..damn leaving my camera at home.

tonight is gonna be fab...Doctor Who is back, and i am very much getting ready to be super-duper scared tonight. tonight's episode looks mega scary...like pee your pants scary. awesome.

i went to London on Thursday and Friday. i met my friend Claire from uni in London because we were going to see much ado about nothing with David Tennant and Catherine Tate. we went up in the morning so we could go to the Tracy emin exhibition. the show was really interesting, however i found videos of her talking about herself and the things she had gone through, and also letters and stories she had written to be more interesting than her normal art. we also went for lunch down at the southbank centre, sat on a giant chair made of grass, looked at little huts full of different types of artlater one we then went to the show. it was so funny. i have not laughed that much in such a long time! i forgot how much i love David Tennant! it was just brilliant. after the show, we went to the stage door maybe hoping to see them...but when we got round the back of the building there was a giant crowd. so many people. i pushed a little and got my programme in the air, they both signed it. however once these girls in front of me got a photo with David, and another woman gave him tuna sandwiches...yeah..i said tuna sandwiches, they moved out the way he had gone past, so i didn't get to meet him, which sucks so bad, but got to meet Catherine and she was lovely. there were so many people behind me that didn't get anything, so both of their autographs and the fact i got to meet Catherine was very good. i know deep down, the only time i think i might get to meet him will be when hes very old and grey at a convention. haha. you have to dream don't you?he day after we went for a cupcake at the hummingbird bakery, which was so cute. then we went shopping in Camden. i had such a lovely time with Claire.i got a cute necklace from Camden, and some crazy socks. while i was away i also got some mail from Amy. it was all so very cute! lots of wonderful stickers, and little bits and pieces.

so today was one of those days. you know when you are in a really bad mood, but you really don't know why? yeah...today was one of those days. although when i got home, i had packages from friends waiting for me to open and for them to cheer me up.i got a package from my friend Charlotte, which included her cute drawings, pictures, a little book she made me, and a wonderful drawing of me.my other packages were from my friend Laura from uni. her package was filled with postcards, letters, pictures, and a little Lego lady of herself.i also got a package from Sophia, which included cute jewellery and a awesome corn necklace, a mix cd, drawings, stickers, and other crafty little bits and pieces. i love getting mail. i brought these for myself the other day...although, i think i am too scared to eat them.

it was my sister's birthday yesterday. she had to get me out of bed so she could open her presents...i was still tired from these night shifts..i hope my body goes back to normal soon. she loved all her random gifts, and loved her t-shirt so much.
after she opened her presents we then we went to Canterbury for lunch, and maybe a little look around some shops. ah..Lego. my love. i am wanting a giant stars wars set..but that's gonna cost like £80ish...no money for Lego like that. after lunch, and a quick look around some shops, a SUPER WONDERFUL ice cream, we then nipped into this guitar shop my dad wanted to go in. he wanted another guitar to add to his collection, and he saw the one he wanted in the window..we went in and sat in the store while he played. my dad is pretty awesome. he used to be in a band when he was younger, just for fun and gigs around where he lived. i always think that its awesome. he doesn't think so. anyway, after long chats with the guy who owned the shop, and many many songs later, he got it. so i know have this really loud guitar waking me up in the morning. lovely. its not all bad..he plays songs i love.

so my night shifts have finished. which, i am really happy about. and we did get a few good words from our boss, which was really nice. although, i am so tired now...and getting back to normal sleeping pattern is going to be hard.

went to Brighton yesterday with mum, dad, and Victoria. the weather was a little sunny..but also a little rainy. went on the train, we went for lunch, went shopping down the lanes into all the little cute shops, and went in the indoor market and looked in the cabinets at all the treasures.i got the most amazing ring. i am in love with it. i was looking in the indoor market, and i saw these cute little rings in one cabinet, and one was a chewbacca one!!! and it fit! so getting the train back was eventful. we were on the train, and a cow had got on the tracks. we then had to get out at a different station and wait for this bus to pick us up. so there are loads of us waiting in the rain for this bus to show up, which it never does! after a very very long wait, the trains were running again. even though all of that happened, i still had such a lovely day.

so when i got in at 7.10 this morning, the sky was kinda awesome. i really couldn't sleep after a long night of working..night shifts..they are the best. you are so tired when you are at work, but as soon as you get home, you can't sleep. so when i got in i watched the office and wrapped my sister's birthday presents, while drinking lemonade. i hope she likes all her random gifts. i asked her what she wanted, and she replied, 'random please'. she likes my odd and random present giving.

i love making packages to send to my blogging friends.

so today i met up with my awesome friend Charlotte. i had to get a few more little presents for my sisters birthday next week, and as i had the day off, and she did as well, we hung out.it was really nice. i got little gifts for my sister Victoria, and we also looked at local art as well. some of the art was really interesting, other pieces really didn't make me feel anything. we then went for lunch in the local pub. there are lots of books in this pub, and its nice to just grab one and flick though and see what random book you can find.afterwards we went back to Charlotte's cute little flat in town where we watched scary movies with the curtains drawn...and it was like daylight outside. she has the cutest flat, which she shares with her boyfriend...its so awesome, and makes me want to move out even more...just wish i had the money to do so.

the UK isn't a happy place at the moment. so much is going on. its alot to take. all i seem to be doing is watching the news. and worrying a little, as there has been lots of rumours about things that might be happening where i live. arghh, it horrible. went out to dinner tonight with friends, and it as really nice to just chill out and have a laugh. had a giant ice cream...which was the best. and met one of my friends new boyfriend, who seems really lovely. random chats about old times, and times to come were had.

so today i was woke up by my sister moaning at my dad about when we were going to leave...and there is me still in bed...oops. we went to bluewater today. my sister wanted to have a look around for birthday ideas, and i needed to get her a present. it was really nice to all spend some time together, its not often we are all together. we went for lunch, then looked around the shops, we spilt up as i needed to find my sister gifts, and then later came back together for coffee and a chat. so i did end up in the Lego shop today...ended up buying 3 crazy little make-your-own Lego figures and some more harry potter Lego..i cannot help myself...Lego rules. oh i also ended up joining this Lego group thingy...yes i am a total nerd.

i did get Victoria a Hollister shirt and some other little random bits and pieces. i brought myself some stationary, the cute bird paper clips, and submarine on DVD..which i am now off to watch.

change is good. i am going to get a new job role at work, which should take off some of the pressure i have been feeling recently...i hope its a good thing. i don't see why it wouldnt be...i just feel a little bit of a failure. anyway, bah, enough about work, i got my pottermore account the other day! so yay! so super happy about that. today i went to a cute little fete near where i live with my parents, grandparents and my friend Charlotte. there were many cute stalls. i got a rather big pile of books, and won pink lemonade and other drinks on a drink tombola, listened to such an awesome guy singing, it rained a little...but it was still kinda nice.i am now off to hang out in my room...write letters to friends and to watch Arthur.

so this is what the sky looked like when i got in at 5am after work....nice.went to visit my friend Claire this weekend for her birthday. my friend Laura also went. it was really nice to escape from life and just go away for the weekend.we went shopping, out for lunch at this AWESOME burger place...they were super amazing and i had a giant milkshake too, went to an outside play in a lovely park with a picnic, had a BBQ with family and friends, just hung out, went bowling, took silly photos in a photo booth, and just had fun. its hard because i used to spend all my time with them, and i used to live with them, now we just have to meet up when we can. it still feels really odd.
so when i got back from my weekend away, a package was left waiting for me. it was my summer swap package from lizzie. it was so awesome. cute maps, an amazing mix cd, a watercolour drawing of the tardis, so wonderful.also, my starkid t-shirts came yesterday. i will be wearing these all the time now.

i went to my godparents bbq yesterday. it was really fun..although, it would have been even better if the sun had come out just a little bit more, like today. my godfather had the coolest birthday cake, he had lots of star wars cupcakes. i like going to my godparents parties because i am always referred to as 'the artist'...and people also always go on about how i was a bridesmaid at my godparents wedding when i was super little. its quite funny. FINALLY went to see harry potter tonight. yeah, i loved it...and hated it at the same time. i just think its because its the last one..and its over now. a few little bits annoyed me, but i think most people feel the same. it was still brilliant. i love matthew lewis even more now than i did before.

so today was good. i am enjoying having two days off in a row. chilled out in the morning, eating cereal in bed while watching the 3rd harry potter movie, finishing writing letters, making lists, planning meet ups with friends and then watching starship again. nan and gdad nipped round for a cup of tea and a chat, which was really nice. then went into town in the afternoon, sent mail to friends, got birthday presents for friends, saw a beautiful green dress that i really wanted...but i couldn't get, as i need to save money. oh it was so beautiful...like really beautiful.

at the moment i crave adventure...like really crave it. i have been watching the glee project...i am so in love with everyone in the show!! Cameron is my favourite, and i kinda like Lindsay. also, i have the need to go see the new hp film. i have not seen it yet due to stupid hours at work...and this week i have even more crazy hours, like finishing at 2am. i think the cinema should show hp at 2am in the morning...at least i would get to see it then.

so the the weekend just gone was awesome. i went to my convention, and Karen Gillan was there. I GOT TO MEET KAREN. BEST DAY EVER. i got the train super duper early on Saturday morning, and there was still a giant queue outside. so many people were there this year...it was packed inside. so i had a photo shoot with Karen, and she was so lovely. i got to touch her hair, and have a little half hug..it was fab. i was really worried i wouldn't get to meet her and get her autograph as i had a high number, although some people had tickets into the 1,000, and mine was 588. went to a question and answer talk with her which was really nice, people asking for hug, giving her beautiful gifts, asking silly but funny question, one person asked her to sing and she treated us to a little bit of California girls. i met the cutest and coolest girls in Karen's talk. i sat next to them, and they were so lovely. i saw them later on in the day and we sat and had a little chat. they were so exited like me to meet Karen, we exchanged names and stuff so hopefully i will see them again next year. while i was talking to them the second time round, my dad and my friend sarah started shouting at me, hurry its our number now! (you have to get a number ticket for when you can go up and meet her and get her autograph)...quick hugs and then i ran in to meet her. she was so nice. i can't really remember what i said as its all of a blur, but i told her that she was awesome, and i that it was lovely to meet her. she said thank you, and that it was lovely to meet me too. my dad had a little chat with her about how good she is doing in the show (hes a loyal doctor who fan, watched it from the start, as he like to remind me)..although, i think she might be leaving...i have this funny feeling. best day ever.i got some awesome stuff as well as my Karen auto, that i will treasure forever, as you can see, i brought a frame while up there, plus my cute 'bow ties are cool' mug.also, i got some cute mail from amy...which was awesome. i will be writing back very soon. ps, i love the dalek drawing Amy!!!

so its back to normal life again. work...work...and more work. its really nice being back and seeing everyone, although i now have double the amount of work to do at the moment, fun times. so i have an awesome time at Glastonbury this year. a very different vibe to last year. the first few days were rainy, cold, and cloudy. plus the whole field was just mud...and it was super hard to get about through the mud, people were getting stuck in the mud and losing their wellies!! but then after a few days, the day broke in the morning, the morning of the night of Coldplay the weather got better, the sun came out and i got super burnt. Coldplay were amazing, like, i was nearly in tears at how amazing and moving they were. other highlights including watching Mumford and sons in the rain...that was beautiful, dancing away at the silent disco, getting a temporary tattoo at the white ribbon alliance in aid of their charity and sending a postcard to my mum telling her how much i love her and how much she means to me, watching the crazy a capella group the magnets, eating biscuits and ribena at this giant London red bus at half 4 in the morning, and staying out so late on the last night that we got back to our tent at 5.30 in the morning, to sleep for an hour and a half to then get up to pack up and leave. just being in that field. its pure love. also, i went to see glee live. oh my goodness, it was awesome. i went with my friend Charlotte. we had glee-themed drinks when we got there. singing along all night. when lea came on stage...i wanted to cry! arrgggh, i love her voice so much. best night ever!

now its back to normal everyday life.

Ok, so 6 days ago my computer stopped working when i wanted to post that i was going to Glastonbury...so i couldn't do it. which, made me sad. although i had a super-duper awesome time. the weather went from rain and mud--getting stuck in the mud, feeling so very cold from the rain to the sun and the heat---burning my nose/face and feeling the sun shinning down on me. i will post of my adventures very soon when i have a little time.

this little fellow was a present from my friend Ben. he went to Brighton, and went to the Lego shop...therefore got me a gift. i love Lego. so went out with my guy friends on Saturday night, ah it was awesome. i love having guy friends. normally there is no drama and they come as they are. went to Canterbury with my sister yesterday. after we gave dad his father's dad presents of t-rex vinyl, (the story of this record seemed to go on and on and on and on...), guitar ice cube maker, socks (of course!!), a queen cd, and sweets we went out for the day. it was really nice, although the weather wasn't. i am off to finish packing! :)

so the weather has been horrible today...rain, rain, and more stupid rain. i had the best lie-in in ages!!! i feel so refreshed now! nipped out for a bit today and got a new waterproof jacket for glasto, new stationary and other bits and pieces. this time next week i will be in the middle of a giant field, super cold, wet, covered in mud, listening to music with my best friends.

today i also spent time putting together packages for far away friends. :) mail-making is so much fun. and drawing...i have not had the time to just sit down and draw. its a wonderful feeling just having time to myself to do what i want. today i have also been watching Pirates of the Caribbean in my room while listening to the rain...which was awesome.

the weather keeps changing----its so annoying!!! i want it to be dry for Glastonbury next week, but it keeps getting dark and raining...and then the sun comes out. crazy stuff.i got some post today. i got a package from jane, and it had late birthday presents!! :) i got an amazing moose stamp, ink, and a super cute notebook! plus, the wrapping paper is super-duper cute.

also!!!---i am on holiday now! for 2 whole weeks!!!! i cannot believe it! :) i just need some chill out time. working a whole week full time with no days off this week had nearly killed me! yay for a lay in tomorrow, getting up late, and staying in my pjs for most of the day.

thank you very much for all your kind wishes. i am feeling alot better today, tea and hot ribena are helping. just this stupid cough...its so annoying. went out for lunch with my mum and sister, which was rather nice. and we also went shopping. normally we never have the same time off, so it was awesome to hang out. i got a very cute bird dress, along with a few other bits and pieces. plus, i got my sunglasses i have been waiting ages for...(damn me not being able to see, so the need for prescription sunglasses...haha).i am really looking forward to glastonbury...not long now. i just cannot wait to be on the hill listening to music with my best friends. just hope that weather will be lovely.ps, i really want an owl tattoo...i don't think i could get one done though. i change my mind to much to have a tattoo.

i am not feeling very well at the moment. got a super-bad cough going on and a super sore throat. not good at all. being ill sucks...and its really annoying because when i am at work, people keep talking to me and asking questions, and its hard if half way through a sentence you lose your voice, and have to start coughing....makes me feel quite loser-like.

however my awesome friend Liz brought me some really cute hello kitty earphones...which i love.ok, i am off to drink more hot tea.

ok, so these are the answers to my questions that all you lovely people asked.

1. what movie makes you cry?

hmm, this is a hard one. ok, well i always cry-with laughter when watching superbad, but Milk makes me cry. i remember watching the scene where Harvey gets shot..and yeah, that makes me cry.

2. if you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

anywhere in America. i have always loved it. i am guessing somewhere like New York would be ultra awesome...but anywhere really. i want to go travelling around America soon.

3. what is the one thing you would change about the world?

i just would love people to respect each other more.

4. tell me about a time when you thought, "This is exactly where I'm supposed to be".

when i was at Glastonbury last summer, i was right at the front of the park stage watching Broken Bells, and listening to James mercer sing...and that's when i knew that this moment was exactly where I'm supposed to be.

5. what would you do if you knew you could not fail?

i would learn to play the guitar. i have always wanted to, i just think i would be rubbish at it...i should really try.

6. what would you try if you had no fear?

well, jumping out of an aeroplane would be pretty awesome...however i could never do that!!

7. do you have a recurring dream, what of?

i don't really think i ever have a recurring dream. i have crazy dreams though. recently the same people seem to be appearing in my dreams.

8.what would be your ideal home?

i really like the idea of living in a city. when i was at uni i loved living in the middle of a giant city, and waking up every morning and looking out my window to see everyone running around trying to get to where they needed to be.

9. do you have a unfounded fear of something?

birds!!! oh man, i am super duper scared of birds. its weird because i love bird pictures, and i based a lot of my art work on birds...but they just creep me out.

10. what is your go to reading book?

i think the first harry potter book, because it makes me feel young again.

11. favourite frozen treat?

mint ice cream.

12. if you had to give up something for a month what would it be?

um i think cheese. i love cheese, and i think i eat far too much cheese.

dogs. its really odd because i used to be really scared of dogs, but not i think they are lovely. and i really want a little dog now.

the last book i read was Submarine by Joe Dunthorne and i have started reading Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion, which is about a zombie who falls in love with a human.

my life at the moment----- sent mail to far away friends, getting super confused as to what is happening in the new series of doctor who, gone to a friends comedy night---which was super funny, and i did have an awesome night, gone out for drinks with crazy random people, getting stressed with work, framed my birthday present from Lina, printed off the mini guide to this year's Glastonbury, listening to fleetwood mac again after the glee episode, and got my disposable camera's developed---the one from last year's glasto and the one i sent to Lina.i am really loving Amy's post about questions, i am thinking of doing that too! looks kinda awesome. *UPDATE* i would like to do a questions post. any questions, let me know.

it was the royal wedding the other day, and i had to work. it pretty much sums up my life at the moment. i got to see Kate get out of the car in her beautiful dress...but that was it. of course when i got in i watched it on the news, read about it in the papers afterwards, but lets be honest, its never gonna be the same as watching it happen at the very moment its happening.

i am also really getting fed up of being spoken to like i am a little kid, or someone that doesn't know much, when i am not a kid and i do know a lot! why do people feel the need to speak down to you?blah. i need some happiness.

so its my 300th post...nothing really super amazing is gonna happen in this post, and i guess that makes me sad. i wanted to do something fantastic, but really couldn't think what to say or do. but i do wanna say that i love all my blogging friends, love you all.went back to work today, after my birthday week off. i felt really weird this morning. i felt ill, sick, and really worried. i have never felt like that before about going to work...it kinda reminded me of how i used to feel about going to school sometimes when i was younger...so weird. but when i got to work, it was great. people at work said they missed me, so that was nice...plus extra birthday presents. oh, and having the new doctor who episode chats with lots of different people at work.

I AM OLD.

ok, im not. but i feel like i am. even though i don't really feel any different. yesterday morning, the day after my birthday, i woke up and though, man i am old. however i was on a busy train yesterday, and in front of me was a group of girls. it was one of the girls birthday. all they were doing was moaning about guys, talking about how much alcohol they were gonna drink tonight, being mean to one of the girls, more talking about guys. they were 14. i am glad i am old, i couldn't handle being 14 again.

anyway, my birthday was rather nice. i am not a fan of my birthday, but my awesome friends made it fab. i went for lunch with my friend charlotte. and then charlotte and my awesome friend sarah came round for dinner with my family. my gdad was super funny like normal, it was just a really nice evening. then met some friends out, and we all went bowling. the most awesome surprise of my birthday was my present from lina. it was a beautiful print, from the movie submarine. lovelovelove. it came on my birthday, plus the stamp used to send it was of david tennant.yesterday i went to brighton (again) for the day with sarah. we went shopping and other bits and pieces, spent ages in the comicbook shop, walked to the pier, sat in cafe Nero with simon callow opposite us, and other stuff.

Doctor who is back tonight...oh my goodness. bring on 6pm.

so this weekend, was pretty awesome. on friday night i was waiting at the train station with a sign saying Stevens and Wyatt...my friend Laura has always joked that she would love to have someone waiting to pick her up with a sign with her name on...so therefore i made one for her and Lucy. after the laughs, and me jumping up and down and making my friends embarrassed, we went home. many chats were had. then sleep was needed. then next morning we met up with our other friends Claire and Charlotte and went to Canterbury for shopping and lunch at wagamamma's. the weather was so lovely.we had chats about adventures we had been on, old times, new times, new people in our lives, jobs, Glastonbury--it was just really nice to hang out with them again.then saturday evening we had a little joint birthday party at Charlotte's house. me and charlotte opened presents from our friends, i got some crazy funny present...like, i got a peanut shaped rubber. love it. we had nibbles, drinks and we gave our party bags out----which contained sweets, seeds for the garden, plastic rings, stickers and other super awesome random stuff. we had a really good night out, crazy dancing times were had. on sunday it was sad to say goodbye, next time i see most of them will be at Glastonbury. however, as i have this week off from work for my birthday, i decided to go back with Claire to Brighton. we had a couple of really chilled out days, playing crazy golf, having lunch on the beach, visiting art galleries, going to the cinema to see your highness, going out for drinks and a dance with our friend Mandy. oh also we went for a lovely walk around where she lives. the woods were beautiful. Claire was taking photos of flowers, whereas i thought it was more fun to take photos of her. after lunch i thought it was time to go catch my train....which when i got on the train i sat on the floor for most of the time...then got a seat, then to give it up for someone...to then sit on the floor again. it didn't matter because the sun was shinning, and all i could think about was the awesome adventures i have had the past 5 days. life feels good.

tidy..tidy. my friends are coming down tomorrow for mine and my awesome friend charlie's joint birthday party. i cannot wait for lots of fun. my room is tidy...well apart from my desk, because lets be honest, its never gonna be tidy.i found a note that i wrote someone a long time ago, which i never gave out..i told that person, then that person started to talk about old times...i hate the past. the past should just stay there...why does it need to come back.

so, i haven't blogged in a while, and i wish i could say that i have been having so many adventures that i really haven't had the time to blog....but sadly that's not the case. my life just feels like one long work day. however i have this weekend to look forward to. its my birthday in a couple of weeks and its my friend Charlotte's birthday this week, so we are having a joint party. so lots of party times ahead. i always seem to love other peoples birthdays, but hate my own...hmmm, anyone else feel like this?well in my spare time have been meeting up with my lovely friend Charlotte, going round her house for dinner, planning birthday bits and pieces, nearly using up the last couple of shots from my last polaroid film, getting colourful presents from my mum and dad, getting mail from far away friends, going to the cinema to see submarine (movie is good, but book is better), oh and playing around with my newwwwww camera. when i went into the shop, the cute--well hot camera guy helped me pick one out...he was lovely...he had awesome hair, and spoke really quietly...which was kinda cute.

so...my camera stopped working. blah. stupid camera, i have had it for like nearly 3 years and now it stops working. the flash won't work. i have researched the problem on the web, and most people seem to say that 'thats what happens with this camera, one day it just stops working...' why didn't i know this before?!?!?!?! currently using my sisters olddddd one. hmmm...rant over.

so, this weekend just gone, my dad took me to the new doctor who experience in london, OMG, it was amazing!!! the tardis appeared before my eyes, and then you walked through the doors and stepped inside. walking around the console, hearing the noise and you walked over the grates on the floor, being able to fly the tardis!!!---and feeling like its actually happening, well lets say that it was the best day ever! and i got to go see katy perry that night too in london....BEST DAY EVER.

first, a lay-in, which was lovely. listening to stupid birds making crazy nosies, was pretty nice this morning.

so mr postman brought me my new 'oh comely magazine'. i ripped over the envelope and pulled out the magazine, turned to the letter page, and there in the top left hand corner was my letter that i sent in. i sent a letter in a while ago, and they printed it! i eeeked out loud. well to be honest i flicked to the page and had a quick look and thought oh they didn't, then i looked closer and saw that they had. the letter was about me and lina, and how awesome she is.today is a good day.
at the moment i am thinking about whether i should eat these crazy blue chick marshmallows i got in Brighton or keep them...what to do..what to do.

trip to the seaside

i went on a little trip at the weekend. i went to Brighton for my friend Mandy's birthday. i met up with friends from uni as well. it was a lovely trip, and it was nice to hang out, laugh, and share stories about were we are in our lives at the moment...like the whole work/guys/what the hell are you gonna do with your life?, kinda talks.we went for lunch, coffee, shopping, went out in the evening for drinks and a little dance, and late night chats, which included Mandy's crazy cat scaring everyone.

so work wise, i feel like i have alot more to do now, the pressure still feels like its there, but hopefully its getting better, which then makes me feel better and less stressed. i am currently planning lots of trips to happen this year and next, which is making me smile, and keeping me going.

also----Coldplay are going to be doing the Saturday night slot at Glastonbury! i cannot wait to be sat on the hill singing at the top of my voice, and listening to everyone around me sing as well. bring it on, i cannot wait for June.

so recently i have not been sleeping very well...i am not sure why. maybe stress? works been a bit crazy still...ah i don't know, it could be anything. first odd/weird dreams, now no sleep at all. so because i have not been sleeping much, i have been drawing, drawing characters from scott pilgrim, reading, playing my old gameboy, listening to alex day, looking at old photos, and writing letters.

while i write this post, i am listening to home- by Edward Sharpe and the magnetic zeros...over and over.....and over. i am in love.

so today started off with me getting out of bed at 8.45am. getting dressed, trying to sort out my hair---i have really bad bed hair in the morning...does that mean i sleep well..or not? anyway, went downstairs and grabbed the sunday paper, got up to date with the days news, eat some frosted cereal of some sort, went to work. then we had a group team brief at the start of the working day. got on to the subject of a dictaphone...one of my colleagues didn't know what that was. i made the stupid mistake of saying something like, 'ah you know, 'captain's log..stardate...'' before i could even finish i had loads of people starring at me, and a couple of nerdy guys laughing...man, i am an idiot.

work went quite fast...and before i knew it i looked down at my watch, (which has now been replaced with a new one...a star wars lego watch) to see that it was time to go.

ok. work is kinda crazy at the moment, you can't do right for doing wrong...and that sucks. you know when you all band together, and you try so hard to get everything done, and done right..and you all think its alright...but then your boss comes in, and its ALL WRONG. so that means you all have to come in and do more really late shifts, and do more work so you can then be told its wrong. hopefully work will get better. everyones stressed. which, it probably why everyone is feeling like this. i do feel that i live at work at the moment. i need something creative to help my head. need to write more letters, send more packages to far-away-friends, i need to take more photos, watch more movies, listen to more music, just get out and be free for a bit.

ahhh this post sucks. i want the normal me back.

i have not been feeling very well recently. feeling sick and all that jazz. not good. i am hoping to go back to work tomorrow after a couple of days off. i have been getting lots of mail from far away friends over the past couple of days, which has brought a smile to my face. i thank you guys alot. other than being curled up in bed, i have been watching doctor who, writing letters/replies to friends, drinking so much water, and reading...so much reading.its not until you slow down you realise things. i really don't have much time at the moment, my life revolves around work...and i don't think that's a good thing.

new years eve was spent playing board games, eating yummy food, drinking lemonade, nearly using up my last polaroid film on my family being..well my family, and when it hit 12 running to the back door to let the old year out and then going to the front door to let the new year in, and then watching some fireworks from down the street.

new year. it makes me think back over the last year, and what adventures i got up to.

i look forward to this years adventures.

on Christmas morning, i awoke to my phone ringing...i turn to answer it, and its my sister calling me from downstairs telling me to wake up...gone have the days when i used to wake my sister up on Christmas morning just so she could help me get mum and dad out of bed. Christmas was odd this year. i love Christmas so much...but i couldn't help getting that weird feeling, like something wasn't right...maybe its just the fact im a not a kid anymore...but i never thought i would feel like that..ever. my parents got me such awesome gifts, which made me smile so much. star wars Lego?!?!?!?!---how awesome, right? plus books and dvds to keep me entertained from them and my grandparents.so its new years eve tomorrow. what will the new year hold? it makes you think though, doesn't it? i am not really a new years eve kinda person...its always such a let down. i have been invited out, but to be honest, i think i am gonna stay in, drink fizzy lemonade, hang out with my grandparents, mum and dad, play some old board games and see the new year in. i kinda don't want this year to end..but at the same time i do---i want new adventures, but i don't wanna say goodbye to the old ones.

i hope 2011 is simply awesome for you.

hello. i feel lots better now. thank you for your well wishes. they made me smile. i am getting super excited about christmas now. its not that long away now! i have been getting in the xmas mood by singing awesome christmas songs, drinking eggnog, wrapping presents, watching people run around trying to buy christmas gifts..hehe, writing letters to far away friends, and of course watching christmas movies. jingle all the way, is my all time top favourite xmas film.

felt rather christmasy last night, as we went to buy all our christmas food. it was super crazy!!!---people buying so much, the shelves were bare! i do think people are panic buying at the moment because of the really bad snow...i just hope there is enough to go round.
i cannot wait for christmas just because it will nice to spend some time with my family. i never hardly see my sister anymore as we both work, so i am looking forward to hanging out and being stupid on christmas again with her like the good old days.

so work is getting kinda crazy at the moment! everyone seems to be out buying their Christmas gifts and party clothes to wear. i have a new job role at work, and its alot more work, but being challenged is always a good thing. so i have been counting down the days until Christmas---ooh there is so much to look forward to. 1. Being together at Christmas with my family, 2. Doctor Who Christmas special, 3. presents, they are always a good thing, 4. Mum's awesome Christmas dinner, 5. watching Christmas films and listening to Christmas songs, 6. working Christmas eve..i love it, i always get such a buzz...and always wonder why so many people leave it so late and 7. the late night Christmas walk we have in the evening--its always really nice to go for a walk, and see everyone Christmas lights. *hmm, how many times did i end up saying 'Christmas'!!?!?! haha*

i have been getting together little Christmas packages for my lovely far away blogger friends. i love sending mail, its so much fun to put together, but its awesome pretty awesome to get mail from others. i have tomorrow off, so off into town i go to post my little packages destined for far away lands.

so went on a mini adventure at the weekend. went to Devon for my lovely friend Laura's birthday. my other lovely friend Claire went as well, which was really nice. the train journeys were not very nice though...everyone seemed to be rushing around at the weekend, trying to get home or to different places. on the Saturday we went laser questing in the woods, it was freezing cold, so cold i thought it would be breathing ice and my hands would crack in to a million pieces. but after a few games we all warmed up. after a lovely chinese takeaway and a little bit of strictly come dancing, like the good old days, we then went out dancing and visiting cute little pubs and cocktail bars.ah the journey home wasn't the best either. had to stand up all the way home...well, i say stand up. after an hour into the journey once this guy got off, i took his space, and sat on the floor playing the gameboy...Lego batman...and kinda zoned out. it was so nice to get home, because it had been such a cold day. then of course, the next day it snows!! and hasn't really stopped since. works been kinda odd with people that can't get in, and why are people still coming shopping in the giant snow!! i guess its because its Christmas soon. one of my friends has just lost their father. its such a sad time. but sometimes i feel like a rubbish friend because i never know what to say in these situations. all i could say was that i was there if they needed me. it was my day off today, which was a rather good thing because the snow is super thick today and still falling! i wrapped Christmas presents, listened to Christmas songs, laughed at Michael buble as Justin bieber, wished friends good luck, heard about a few friends being snowed in, wrote letters, and have enjoyed being inside on such a horrible cold day.

so work is kinda crazy at the moment. i am working so hard, and i feel as if i am learning alot. but its alot of pressure. some friends are really making me smile with talks of christmas get-togethers and others are really not making me feel that great, and some are just daft and funny.

one of my friends isn't feeling that great at the moment. his dad isn't very well, and hes going through a rough time. its really hard in situations like this because i never know the right way to act, and how to handle it. i guess all you can do is be there for the person if they need you. he did say that having random silly sci-fi chats with him have helped him, so that's a plus.

i feel quite contained at the moment. as if nothing seems to be happening, and i am watching people past by. so my room is filling up with bags of xmas presents for friends and family, and going to start listening to my collection of awesome xmas cds. i cannot wait for xmas because its a time when you can see your old friends and family and just have such a lovely time together.

so going on a work-road trip to London tomorrow with Ashley. we need to go to a London store and sort out some stock, so road trip!!

so, i was back to work today after a lovely week off. hmm, it was weird. i really enjoy my job, but when i went back today it felt as if i had been away for ages, new people, new ways of working, new layouts..arggh, i felt like that new person all over again. although, one interesting thing i found out was that i am employee of the month!!!---hehe. how random huh?? i get a gold star badge! i cannot wait to wear it! ok, geeky moment over. ok certain people are making me rather confused. i have this old friend, who keeps texting me, which, no lie, really makes me smile..but the past wasn't too good, but people can change right? i know i have. argghh i don't know...the more i think about it, the more i feel like i am going crazy.

arrggggghhhh trains!!!!!------blah. i used to love trains, not after yesterday. i know the weather was horrible yesterday, very horrible. well, on my way to visit my friends in Brighton yesterday the train was delayed, then the train hit a tree!!---we had to stop while the driver checked the train was alright, then stopped at Lewes, and had to get off at Lewes and wait for another train to get to Brighton...which was only one stop away! plus got super wet! and even more late! i felt super bad as one of my friends had come to the station to pick me up, and she waited for ages for me to get in! anyway, once i finally got there, it was lovely to see Mandy and Claire and their super happy faces. we did quite abit, went shopping down the lanes, had the most AMAZING burger in this awesome restaurant, went for hot chocolate, talked about good times, bad times, and up coming adventures, had pancakes, walked in the rain and super strong wind, it was great. just what i needed. so then, had to get the train home, which was also delayed...and took forever. you know when you are kinda in your own world on the train, listening to music, and writing/drawing in your journal, and after a while you look up and see that there is NO ONE AROUND AT ALL, you feel as if you are on your own on the train, alone, with the ticket guy coming around all the time trying to have a conversation with you because you are the only person in the carriage...yeah..thats creepy. well, before i was alone, there was such a super cute hot guy on the train, awesome beard, great giant hair, cute glasses, cute backpack, great trainers, make your knees-weak smile..yes, he did smile at me alot, which was rather nice...maybe he thought i was weird drawing in my journal...because the guy sitting opposite me did. although, i could smell alcohol on his breath, and thought he was gonna be sick on me at every bump the train went over.

train journeys always make me think, normally because i am on them on my own. i just need to get on with stuff, forget certain things and go with the flow. oh yeah, my 'find of the day' was 'eggnog bubblegum'...that screams awesome right?

so i have been thinking alot about things this week. sometimes that's a good thing, and sometimes that's a bad thing. contacting people from the past that maybe i shouldn't, because, i mean they are in the past right?--so maybe they should stay there. or should they? but then certain people in the present are not helping me at all, and not making me feel that great. its hard when your head tells you one thing, and your heart tells you other.

i am obsessed with Lego at the moment. love it! :)

last week i went to London with my friends..aka my 'fanboys' friends. we went to Simon pegg's book signing at forbidden planet...we queued in the freezing cold for hours. my feet were super cold. while we waited, Mr pegg went past the queue in his car, with his head out the window shouting hello to everyone, which was kinda nice. in the queue you had super nerds--a few of which were very clever indeed with ideas such as bringing a cricket bat for Mr pegg to sign...(awesome idea...why didn't i think of that!!). he was super nice, lots of random conversation was had, he asked if i wanted a jaffa cake, and that i had to eat it in front of him, he came up with a pub quiz name for our team---and other random things..some of which i cannot really talk about!--haha, awesome stuff. afterwards we went to a pub in London for a few drinks...awesome day indeed.

back to work now, new role at work...its more of a challenge, but that's always a really good thing. loving work at the moment, even though its a little stressful with some bits and pieces, i still love my job, which is good. on Monday i am helping put up the Xmas decorations!--a little bit early, but that's retail. i guess i will need to start with Christmas shopping...oh dear...i have no idea what to get people...my head isn't in Xmas mood yet! :)

so, i have been on a couple of adventures recently. one to London to see daleks and one to Bristol to see old friends. both were super fun. and really nice to just get away from normal life, and escape...which i did. not sure if i really like staying in hotels though, i love the adventure of it...just there is some reason, which i cant really put my finger on why it feels so odd for me. my London adventure was very fun filled, and a very geeky weekend away. we went to forbidden planet, brought comicbooks, American candy, saw Matt smith on a giant screen, watched late night tv, started planning a trip to America and other awesome bits and pieces.so, next to Bristol. another weekend away and travelling on a train. games and a good companion is needed when going on a LONG train journey, and i had my good friend Charlotte, so that helped. we went to our friend Laura's house first, and stayed the night. i love Laura's house, as i have been there a few times, i always feel really at home and welcomed. so early next morning, we caught another train. when we got to Bristol we met the first of our dear friends. the weekend consisted of meals out, long catch up chats, boy chats, old times chats, Glastonbury chats, drinks, partying, dancing in a jazz bar, shopping, laughing, photo taking, and just fun times. it was really sad to leave everyone, and the journey home was horrible...bah, it was really bad. and then when i get in, i just find out that i missed Katy perry on the xfactor!---oh well, it doesn't really matter, as i am going to see her next year on her tour!!! eeek, i really cannot wait!

back to normal life now...well, i have a few days off which are gonna be nice, and then back to work, and then looking forward to Christmas.

the sky was beautiful this evening.

today has been quite nice. i have been working pretty non stop at work recently, and its been quite good. it was nice to come home this afternoon and just chill out. sat in my tidy room and watched a few dvds out of my 'must watch very soon' pile. i watched fanboys yesterday, which i re-watched today, i am in love with it, made me happy to be a star wars fan, it was such an emotional movie, very funny and just really cool. Kristen bell was a genius as always, and jay baruchel turned out to be the cutest nerd on the planet. and i have fallen in love with Dan fogler after this movie, i wasn't a fan of his before, but i am now...ps he has awesome hair. nerdy guys driving around quoting star wars, now that's my kinda movie.

the other movie i watched today was gentlemen broncos. i have waited such a long time for this movie, as they never showed this movie in my cinema as well. and, it was a tad odd, but my kinda odd. its from the same people as Napoleon dynamite, so you can guess what type of movie it is. Michael angarano was really good, he plays such a sad character, with a lot of heart. the ending to this movie made me shout yes out loud, its a good movie, go watch it if you haven't already. i eat mint and vanilla ice cream today. it tasted like toothpaste...and i cant work out if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

hello----i had a lovely chilled out time away. being in the woods was very twilight like, which me and my sister quite liked. the weather was nice. went for walks, went swimming late night, painted a plate Scott pilgrim style, brought gifts for friends, visited a cute town, watched movies, had log fires, and took photos...which i sadly lost to a rubbish new memory card, that i had to take back to the shop the other day, so bye bye photos...bah..bad times.

anyways, now back home, back to normal life, although fun filled adventures await with old friends and new.

still obsessed with Lea...she is awesome. currently wanted to go see Jonathan Geoff in deathtrap in London, taking photos all the time with my plastic cameras, wanting to meet simon pegg at his book signing on the 23rd in london, reading so many magazines, drawing with my spirograph, jumping around because strictly come dancing is back---(loving Matt so much, Matt to win!) and watching my big bang theory season 3 DVD. any ideas of anything fun to read or listen to???

well, i am hopefully getting my adventure very soon. well to honest, i think i am getting a few! planning to meet up with my friends from uni very soon, which i am super happy about. its hard for us all to get together as we all live in different places, and have different jobs, but we have manged to set a date.

i am going on my woodland holiday with my family tomorrow, which is going to be really nice. i cannot wait to just escape for a little bit, have some time off work, chill out, and just have fun. i am looking forward to my holiday because i get to draw, swim, go on lovely walks, take photos, watch movies with my family, visit different places...eee, i cannot wait.

other than that, i have not really been up to much other than working...which is fine because i enjoy work, but on the other hand it isn't. my dad brought me a couple of old Sherlock Holmes books, which i have started to read. i love the way the books are written. for some reason i have gotten back into playing my really old Pokemon games, which is kinda awesome. i have just been reading lots and lots of magazines. oh and i have been getting my atc's ready for an exhibition. when i get back from holiday, i am a fun filled trip planned with my lovely friend---which i cannot wait for! plus extra night shifts, a trip to see my friend perform at a comedy club, and re-watching glee.

oooook!!!----so i finally got to see scott pilgrim vs the world, after such a long wait! so it was a rainy wednesday evening, i met up with my friends emma, charlotte and mandy. we went out for dinner, which was really nice to just chill and catch up. and as they love me so much, they came with me to go watch the movie. ah, i don't really know how to sum it up, but i thought it was really good. they missed out lots but of course they had to for time. i liked the fact i was a fan of the graphic novels, and have read they before i saw the movie, because i knew all the important back stories that were not really told on screen. cera did an amazing performance. cera tends to play the same sort of role, (i do love him anyway), however, he seemed different, and played scott well. the cast were awesome, and all really fitted their characters. i loved it! :) plus hanging out with your bestest friends makes for a fun filled night. oh and one more thing, alison pill as kim pine.......AWESOME.today after work i nipped out with my mum and dad, and did a little bit of shopping. a cool bag, a couple of cheap cds, and a PILE of awesome magazines were brought.

so life at the moment consists of work. i have been doing crazy shifts at work, and working until 12 at night moving the store around getting ready for the new season. its really interesting, and i have been having a go at vm stuff, and learning lots and lots. i am really enjoying it. apart from work, my spare time has consisted of making mix cds. my lovely friend charlotte has got me into making them, i am also having a go at making cases and cover art, so that's what i have been doing in my spare time. making a mix cd is really hard, the songs need to fit together just right to work. other than that, i have been getting ready for my sister's birthday, which is today. present buying and decorating the house for her bbq today. hopefully the sun will come out to play, and we can all have a drink in the garden in the sun.

i had a super amazing time last weekend, at my friends. it was so nice to catch up with Claire and Laura and do lots of fun things. we went to a comedy club in the evening for Claire's birthday, it was so nice to just sit and laugh out loud, and eat lots of sweets..haha, it was awesome. just hanging out was really nice. its strange because we all used to live together and spend all our time together, but now we hardly see each other, and we try to as much as we can. but we have all got different lives now...its strange.

other than that, this week has consisted of cinema trips to see eclipse and toy story 3, dinner with friends, drinks with other friends, spending money on the internet, watching everwood and will and grace on repeat, thinking about my future in art, enjoying work, laughing lots, reading the last volume of Scott pilgrim, making new artist trading cards, visiting my grandparents, talking about really grown up things, reading, and tidying my room...finally.

..i need to draw more. that's my new aim.

i have had a few wonderful adventures over the past few days. went to London on Sunday for London film and comic convention, and it was awesome! i met a guy dressed up as the doctor, stole a stormtroopers gun, walked past many hot nerdy guys, looked at stalls filled with comic books, toys, posters and other amazing stuff, brought American candy, FINALLY got my hands on a Scott Pilgrim poster, looked at old comic books, saw a few famous people from a far. on Monday i went to London again with Mandy for an arty trip...which i was very much in need for. i really miss looking at art, and going to galleries, i really need to get back in the mind frame. anyway, went to the surreal house, ra summer exhibition and we also went for a look at the work currently in the saatchi gallery...we also had enough time to walk past noel clark on the street..i wanted to go up and say hi, but he was on the phone, it was still pretty amazing though! the art at the saatchi i did quite like, because for some strange reason i really loved all these quirky little characters i seemed to spot, they started to make me laugh.

i think i feel a little more creative now..which makes me feel alot better. i had a fun day. :)

(playing with doctor who toys is always fun)

today was a normal day really...got up, went to work, then came home. but i did have a really nice chilled out evening with my parents. we ended up watching harry potter (the 5th movie). i really do like that one...it always makes me laugh, and makes me sad. harry potter movies are the best, hands down!

i am looking forward to fun filled adventures with my friends, meeting up with friends who have been away for quite some time, going on nerdy days out, going on birthday trips to visit a special birthday girl, and just general going out for drinks with normal guy friends. its just the waiting that annoys me. as i am in need of some creative ideas, hopefully will be going to visit lots of galleries on monday---i need to see some art!

i had the most, random and coolest weekend. my mum was reading the local paper the other day, and she read at Matthew Lewis, aka Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter was opening a local school fete. i jumped up and down and said that we had to go. so on Saturday we nipped down, and when we got there, there was a raffle---in which you could win lots of harry potter wonderful-ness, like a book signed by lots of the cast, a wand and other fab stuff donated by Warner Brothers and Matthew. i got four tickets. and then went for a wander. i then saw Matthew, who at the time was judging the fancy dress costume competition...there were so many tiny little harry potters, and some really scary dementors...eek. after the competition we had a walk round the stalls, and then decided to go. i saw that a few people were getting his autograph, and i wished that i had brought something to get signed, like a book..(like all the really clever people). i then remember that i had my journal on me, so went over and had a little chat with him, he was so nice, he signed my journal, and i had a quick photo with him. afterwards i was so happy, it had really made my day. the rest of the day was spent at my nan and gdad's and food shopping. when we got in, the phone rang, and it was a lady from the fete saying that i had won a prize in the raffle!!! i had won a copy of the Marauder's map which Matthew had signed for me! i couldn't believe it!!! its beautiful, and when you open it, it goes on forever!! it was truly and awesome day. the rest of the evening was spent in a pub garden going on and on and on to my friends about how amazing my day had been.
other than that fun filled day, my adventures have included bbq's, going out with friends on random nights out, buying lots of letter writing bits and pieces, congratulating my dear friends Rachel and Aaron on the news that they are expecting a baby, dancing around in the garden, looking forward to my geeky sci-fi convention with my equally geek pal Sarah, buying half price jewellery, and watching awesome films with my dad.

oh dear. i seem to have a cold...a cold in summer!!! how stupid do i feel?? i felt really silly yesterday at work, trying to speak to customers and not even being able to speak! everyone at work was making jokes, in the end it was rather funny, but by the end of the day i really could not speak a word.

i have had such wonderful gifts in the post---and only just getting round to posting about them. i got such wonderful packages from Lina, Jane and Amy. you are such awesome friends! love you lots.currently:---i am getting super excited about Scott pilgrim vs the world coming out at the cinema i have been re-reading my books over and over, like alot! i pre-ordered the final book the other day, and i am counting down the days until i can read it. i heart Scott pilgrim!i am now off to drink lots of water, eat some super cold ice cream, and watch Shaun of the dead---as one of my friends yelled at me the other day as i have not seen the whole movie...i think it was due to the fact its his favourite movie, and he gets super geeky about how much he loves it, and that he knows all the words to the film, so completely obsessed. hopefully i will enjoy it. zombies and ice cream, what could be better?

hello all...sorry about the giant gap in blogging. i finally have something to blog about. Glastonbury was one of those things that you have to do once in your lifetime, grated i really do wanna do it again. my adventure started with getting the train to my friend Laura's, and then going out for dinner for a fun filled catch up chat about life and its going-ons. then early next morning Laura's friend Andy and his friend Sam, came to pick us up. we then sat in traffic for 6 hours trying to get to the gates. once there, we had to then find a good camping spot...this took a while, after that we had to put up our tent, which was rather easy. after the tent was up we went for a wander and caught up with our other friends, which we then found out had camped about 15 tents behind us...which we couldn't believe in such a giant place. one thing i enjoyed about camping, was the fact you were always outside, and you could look at the sky as it changed all day and all night. one of the greatest things about this wonderful experience was getting to see broken bells. i was one away from the front row..which i still cannot believe, and being able to see James mercer's face sing, in real life, right in front of me, man, its crazy. and something that i don't ever think i will be able to put into words.during the few days i did lots of other random things. tried so many different types of food, got to experience long-drops, go to a silent disco, go down the rabbit hole--to a dance floor and mini cinema, watched a motorbike show which was crazy scary, drank lots of cider, sat in the sun, danced on the hill, and many of my other adventures can be summed up in these random photos from awesome time at Glastonbury....hopefully i can get back to normal blogging--ness...hopefully!

home, home. i am back from my work trip, and i had such an amazing time. i met some pretty awesome people. it feels weird because we would have to get up super early, then go to work, then come back to the hotel, have dinner, stay up really late hanging out with everyone, then going to bed, and then doing the same all over again the next day....it feels weird because i spent so much time with these people, to not be with them now...its odd. i learnt so much and enjoyed my adventure and i am looking forward to the next new store that will be opening up at the end of august, hopefully i will be able to go. living in a hotel for 11 days is a really weird feeling...yeah my stuff was all over the place, but the room never felt like it was mine. being home..it feels as if i have been away for months. coming home to my room being painted by my mum was a nice surprise. plus awesome amounts of mail. magazines, letters from friends, bills, doctor who live tickets, and a signed photo from Matt smith....fab stuff. oh i missed doctor who last week, but caught up with that, glee and big brother. i loved the doctor who episode with van gogh, oh it was beautiful and made me cry a little. this weeks 'who' was very funny---my favourite part was Matt running around in a towel and did awesome hair in a mess. James corden was kinda funny too, it was a weird episode. oh and i watched the last episode of glee!!!---oooh i nearly cried so many times, i love it so much. i didn't want it to end. i still love Jesse. i loved it when they sang don't stop believing' again...they all sounded amazing.it was weird going back to work...i had missed everyone and it was lovely to see everyone again...but i found out yesterday that they wanna send me to waterlooville in a couple of weeks!---and that will be for two weeks...more hotel food!

ooooh Keane have been added to the Glastonbury line up!!! i have always loved Keane, and it kinda of a dream to see them! i cannot wait for their acoustic set on the Sunday. the high light for me is gonna be broken bells...oh James mercer i love you. plus i kinda wanna see Rolf Harris so i can sing along and dance to 'court of king caractacus'.

i have a couple of days off, so fun times and relaxing, and sleep will be had.

i have been packing today, and sorting out stuff i need to take for my work trip to bridgwater, i am really looking forward to it...but also a little worried, and that i hope i make friends and have a good time.i got the coolest thing in the post yesterday, i got a signed photo from karen gillan! its awesome! and made my morning. last night i had a few friends round and we watched the eurovision, it was such a fun filled night. laughing, making flags, it was nice to just chill out and have some fun. after my friends went home i ended up catching up with doctor who...oh dear...oh rory!!...it made me upset and annoyed.my brain is a little crazy at the moment with late night phone calls, and odd messages...just need sometime to think. i am looking forward to escaping for a while.

i had the coolest past couple of days. went to London with my sister to see flight of the conchords, and they were amazing. i think the best every show i have ever seen. it was so funny, and made me so happy to actually see them live. i love Bret and Jermaine. Arj barker was one of the support acts..aka Dave. and oh my goodness he is so funny, just by shouting he can make you laugh. he is touring and i wouldn't mind seeing him again.me and Victoria went shopping during the day, and it was such a lovely sunny, hot day! we got lots of lovely goodies, and spotted a few elephants around London, i wanted to find more but we just ran out of time.i got the most beautiful bag from topshop, i am in love, like really really in love. i also got the satchel that i wanted from urban outfitters, and a bowl---that i fell in love with after seeing it on lina's blog, and then other stuff included a couple of tops, some fairy light tape, a heart necklace, napoleon dynamite face mask---just cos, and my fotc merch---a baseball world tour shirt, a tea towel and set of badges...awesome.

you know how one bad thing can then turn into lots of bad things, or maybe just because you feel upset about something, you then feel as if everything else is kinda rubbish?? maybe this is all random rubbish i am talking about. when you have a stressed evening at work, miss your favourite programme in the world because are at work, friends cancel plans, and then you feel bad because you could have gone out with your other friends but let them down to go out with the first friends, and then when you get home you get messages asking to come out from other friends you feel bad because it too late now, and you wished you had just gone out with them in the first place....and then after all this you now have a giant headache from all the messing around. i am sorry how boring this post is...i needed to let it out. i think all i needed was a evening out with my friends to relax...instead i have done this post, and will go watch some amazing dvd to cheer me up. in other happy news, i got my Glastonbury ticket in the post yesterday, watched the last ever ashes to ashes--and thought it was the most amazing ending, eat birthday cake yesterday as it was dad's birthday, had a chat with one of my best friends tonight, got random drunken 'please come out texts and phone calls', changed into my colour pjs, looking forward to meeting up with a wonderful uni friend tomorrow, and plus looking forward to fotc on Tuesday evening. sorry about the angry rant....i am sorry.

*update, i have now watched doctor who, thanks to my sisters amazing catch up tv box in her room. i love Matt smith, i do. it was awesome, and kinda cheered me up.

i had an odd weekend filled with random chats, people getting upset, feeling angry, feeling sad, late night walks home, watching the sun rise, doctor who filled Saturday and other things. the sky photo was taken very early Sunday morning, and the sky was beautiful. on Tuesday i brought the coolest book in a charity shop, its a guide to old Kodak camera's---its really old, and the photos are amazing.today at work i was given my train tickets and hotel information for my trip to bridgwater. i am really looking forward to meeting lots of new people. plus i will be helping put all the new mannequins and other visual bits and pieces together, plus setting up the new store. its gonna be hard work, ten days straight work, but i do think it will be good experience and i will have fun...well hopefully! at the moment i am also getting excited because next week i am going to see flight of the conchords in London with my sister! i cannot wait! plus also i have Glastonbury to look forward to next month. i have got most of my stuff for it, we brought a tent the other day, but i am trying to work out who i really wanna see. i think i have come to the conclusion that we will wing it, and just see whats on, when they are on, but i must must see broken bells. oh also currently all i am listening to are songs from glee...run joey run is my favorite, plus Jessie's girl. i love Jesse, aka Jonathan groff so much! he is awesome.

today was a normal day really. went to work today. found out more information about the fact i am going away on the 1st of june to help open a new store with work. head office said they are very happy because that means me and 2 other vm staff from different stores are going. i am looking forward to meeting new people and having a good time learning more about vm bits and pieces. by the end of my shift at work, i felt a little drained, and looking forward to my weekend, as i have got if off. so my friday night tonight, consists of hanging out at home, writing letters, drawing, tidying my room, watching glee on repeat, watching ashes to ashes, maybe watching some movies tonight, and chilling out with my mum and dad.

after work, a hard day at work, while i was in the car, i turned to my mum and said, "did i get any post?"...as all week i have been asking that question. my mum said, YES! i eeked really loud in the car. i got a wonderful package, well a birthday package, from lina!! i jumped around in happiness! i got the coolest bits and pieces. i also wrote letters to a few celebrities and i got a signed photo back from James Buckley..aka jay from the inbetweeners.i cannot wait for doctor who tonight, vampire themed episode tonight. i think i am falling in love with matt smith..haha. hes pretty awesome. plus i think karen gillan is amazing. i am currently: writing letters, making up a package, sending postcards, waiting for doctor who, looking forward to art and doctor who chats tonight, listening to the fruit bats, and catching up with the tv i have missed. i want to exchange art, or do something like that, any ideas??

so today i went for a little car ride with my friend Mandy. but wished my dear friend Charlotte could have come as well. i got so ultra cool bits and pieces today. i hunted through boxes of records in charity shops, got served by a rather hot waiter in a cute cafe, had the best sandwich ever, got a text from a friend saying that they had seen me...but didn't come over and say hello..(very weird), brought a giant backpack for Glastonbury, brought a giant sock monkey, brought doctor who stickers, brought sweets from a amazing sweet shop, had a giant cup of tea, got a text saying we have a tent, and now getting confused by certain people.

so today was wonderful, because i finally got a day off. hurray!---so today was filled with watching birthday dvds, finally getting round to listening to the new broken bells album, writing thank you cards, writing letters to people, walking around in the garden, watching the birds, reading, planning trips and nights out, being a geek and playing my new pokemon game, and writing random notes.

so i am now 23...hmm its doesn't feel and different, but when i think about it it kinda does. odd---ness. i had a fun chilled out birthday. two of my lovely friends from uni, laura and claire, came to visit, and stayed. it was really nice to see them and hang out. i got lots of really cool presents and cards from family and friends. lots of books and dvds to read and watch.the past few days have consisted of trips out with friends, meeting my sister's boyfriend, hanging out with friends, roast dinners, late night shifts at work, late night shopping for books on amazon, writing postcards for a friend, falling in love with characters from glee, eating lots of birthday cake, getting tickets for gigs, partying with friends charlotte and mandy and reading.
i need to make more art, write more letters, read more books, cut out more pictures, send more letters/packages, meet more people...that's a few things i need to do.

....and so its just gone half 9 at night. tomorrow i turn 23...man, that seems so old. well, i guess it is kinda old. life is passing by, i need to sort my life out, do things that i really wanna do, go places, meet the people, live more. i am getting to the stage where i don't really like my birthday, i love other peoples, its just mine...its weird i know. i am looking forward to eating cake tomorrow.
